Join us for a deep dive into the mechanics and safety of standing acrobatics! As an all-levels class, instruction is tailored to each student. *Prerequisites: 30-sec wall handstand, 1 min plank, comfort doing an L-base pose on hands (e.g. shoulder stand, baby bird, or throne on hands), and a willingness to spot!

We will introduce you to a variety of styles such as acroyoga, standing acrobatics, counterbalances, and dance lifts. With fresh material each week, it's a great way to see which classes and types of partner acrobatics you are drawn to and build a solid foundation of skills. No experience or partner is required!
Coached by Kaely Summers & Katelyn Bessette
DANCE LIFTS WEDNESDAYS 7:15-8:30 PM
This series focuses on fluid lifts, shoulder mounts, and assisted leaps that can be used in modern dance, swing dance, ballroom, and circus. Each week we train the principles of shared weight, floorwork for shape and lines, and conditioning for grace and power in the air. We then apply those skills and tricks to choreography throughout the series. It is helpful if you can come with a partner, but not required.
Coached by Kraig Mead & Flo Buddenbaum

COMMUNITY JAM SATURDAYS 1:30-4 PM
This is the opportunity to work on your own time! A coach will be present to answer questions, run lines, and assist if needed, but this is mostly a chance to get in your own extra training. Jam time at Tempos is the heart of our community space, where we get to nurture our creative spirit. It is a time set aside for members of our community to come together and train, share ideas, and simply play and explore! This is open to anyone at any level.
